Do the exercises in SkillTrakker at your own risk. We accept no liability for any injury (or death) that occurs from doing the exercises.
These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Carolina Kings Software, LLC's (DBA SkillTrakker & GymnasticsHQ) Website.
1. Not a substitute for professional coaching or supervision
SkillTrakker is a skill-tracking and organizational tool only. It does not provide coaching, instruction, training advice, or medical guidance. Gymnastics skills should only be attempted under the supervision of a qualified coach, in a properly equipped facility, with appropriate spotting and safety equipment. Nothing in this app should be interpreted as a recommendation that any user is ready to attempt, or should attempt, any particular skill.
2. Assumption of risk
Gymnastics is an inherently dangerous activity that carries a risk of serious injury, including catastrophic injury, paralysis, or death. By using SkillTrakker, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Any decision to attempt a skill is made solely by the user, their coach, and (for minors) their parent or guardian — not by SkillTrakker.
3. No medical advice
SkillTrakker does not provide medical, physical therapy, nutritional, or health advice. Content in the app is for informational and organizational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or continuing any physical activity, and stop immediately and seek medical attention if injury occurs.
4. Parental/guardian responsibility (critical for a youth audience)
Users under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian review and agree to these Terms. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their child's use of the app and their participation in any gymnastics activity. SkillTrakker does not verify the age, skill level, or physical readiness of any user.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkillTrakker and its owners, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, loss, or even death from damage arising from the use of the app or the attempting of any skill tracked, listed, or referenced within it. Users assume full responsibility for their own safety and that of any minor in their care.
6. Accuracy / "as is"
Skill descriptions, progressions, and difficulty ratings are provided "as is" and may not reflect your specific situation, equipment, or ability. SkillTrakker makes no warranty that any information is accurate, complete, or appropriate for any individual.
